This policy explains what information is collected when you visit codecreatecare.com and its pages (such as the home page, the links page and the media kit), how it's used, and the choices you have. The site is run by Joseph Richard under the name Code, Create and Care.
Analytics: Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
This site uses Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager to understand how people find and use it, such as which pages are visited and which links are clicked. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technology to collect:
- pages viewed, links and buttons clicked, and time on the site;
- how you arrived (for example a social post, a search, or a QR code);
- general device, browser and approximate location (city or region) details.
This information is reported in aggregate. It isn't used to identify you personally, and it isn't sold. Google processes it under its own terms; see how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Email signup
If you subscribe for updates, your email address (and a promo code, if the link you used included one) is sent to and stored by the site's own email service. It's used only to send you updates from Code, Create and Care. You can unsubscribe at any time by replying to any email or writing to the address below, and your address will be removed.
Other services that load on the site
- Google Fonts supplies the site's typefaces, so your browser connects to Google to download them.
- YouTube hosts the video thumbnails, and the home page embeds a YouTube video player. The player uses YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), so YouTube doesn't set cookies until you press play. Once you play a video, Google's privacy policy applies to that viewing.
- jsDelivr delivers the open-source viewer that displays the media kit PDF.
These requests share standard technical details, such as your IP address and browser type, with those providers.
Links to other sites
The site links to social networks, a book site and other pages. Once you leave codecreatecare.com, those sites' own privacy policies apply.
Your choices
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
- Install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- Ask what information is held about you, or ask for it to be deleted, by emailing the address below.
Children
This site isn't directed at children under 13, and information from children isn't knowingly collected.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date.
